Road Construction
Speeds will be reduced on Deerfoot Trail around Anderson Road and Bow Bottom Trail this weekend.

Drivers on Deerfoot Trail in southeast Calgary will experience traffic delays over the weekend.

On Deerfoot Trail near Anderson Road, speeds will be reduced to 80 km/h, and drivers will encounter narrower lanes and should be prepared for delays in the area, the Province said in press release.

The speed reductions are part of work that is taking place from April 19 to 22 for the Deerfoot Trail Improvements Project.

Ramps from eastbound Anderson Road and northbound Bow Bottom Trail to northbound Deerfoot Trail will be closed.

Access to southbound Deerfoot Trail will remain open.

Construction will take place 24 hours a day for the ramps to reopen by 6 a.m. on April 22.
