Okotoks RCMP looking to identify robbery suspect

Okotoks RCMP responded to report of armed robbery at Saskatoon Farm on Dec. 9

Okotoks RCMP is seeking public assistance to identify a robbery suspect in Foothills County.

On Saturday, Dec. 9 around 1 p.m., Okotoks RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Saskatoon Farm, east of Highway 2 in Foothills County.

A suspect was observed on surveillance entering a workshop where they were then confronted by an employee at the site.

A physical confrontation followed after the suspect brandished a wood chisel and fled the scene in a newer black Chrysler 300, Model S, which has confirmed to have been stolen.

It has a broken taillight bearing AB licence A-20015. 

The suspect is described as: 6-foot-2, slim build, light coloured facial hair and wearing white and black running shoes, black pants, a red sweater and a blue vest.
