Highway 2 was closed down temporarily Saturday afternoon after a single vehicle rollover.

The vehicle involved, a black Mercedes SUV, lost control and rolled into the ditch around 4:45 p.m. Nov. 25 after another vehicle swerved in front of it.

Three occupants sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries. The 51-year-old male was taken to hospital via STARS, while a 62-year-old female and 70-year-old male were transported to hospital via ambulance. All three are residents of High River.

Two of the occupants were ejected from the vehicle.

According to RCMP, alcohol and road conditions do not appear to be factors. The vehicle that swerved in front of the SUV did not remain at the scene.
