Sometime in the afternoon hours of Dec. 28, RCMP were called to a break and enter at a DeWinton property. A unique saddle and a number of bridles were stolen from the location.

The saddle is described as a custom Don Rich 15.6-inch saddle, deep red in colour with a ranch-cutter maker mark in multiple places. Okotoks RCMP Cpl. Cory Forsyth asked people to be aware if they see any of these items come up for sale.

“Those people who are familiar with tack and saddles, if they might hear about anyone selling or see something on Kijiji, or any kind of social media, please keep your eyes and ears open for us,” he said.
