RCMP investigating MD mailbox mischief

Police are investigating two separate incidents of mischief to mailboxes in the Foothills. Okotoks RCMP allege locks may have been cut on the separate mailboxes, located at the intersection of Brooks St.

Police are investigating two separate incidents of mischief to mailboxes in the Foothills.

Okotoks RCMP allege locks may have been cut on the separate mailboxes, located at the intersection of Brooks St. and Highway 2A as well as the intersection of 16 Ave. East and MacLeod Trail. It is unknown if any mail was taken.

Police recommend the public be vigilant and aware of possible identity theft and fraud. Anyone who thinks their identity may be compromised is urged to contact their local police department.
