A heavy police presence descended on the Heritage Pointe area after an emergency call Thursday morning.
Police aren’t revealing any details, but Okotoks RCMP officers and the RCMP Emergency Response Team responded to a call for service in the Heritage Lake Shores area.
Neighbouring residents are asked to remain indoors and wait for further instructions.
People are asked to stay away from the area and to not share details of police movements and locations on social media.
