Our final ladies bridge luncheon of 2016 was last Thursday. We will be looking for a new caterer in the new year as Donna Armstrong had a serious accident. We send our best wishes. It was lovely to have Donna with us for the day.

I read in the Gateway Gazette the Wildrose party is petitioning to end parking fees for the first two hours in Alberta hospitals. It shows that in one year hospital visitors paid $75 million in parking fees, realizing $17 million in profit.

The Out Loud Series at the library was so entertaining. Gary Allegretto’s show last week was really enjoyable. I’m sorry the series is over for the year. Every presentation was top notch.

I spent part of last weekend in Lethbridge. It has been far too long between visits with my southern family and our little boy is so grown up. He’s in Grade 1, you know.

The Priddis Community Association is holding a chicken supper on Nov. 25. No tickets at the door. For details call Jackie at 403-931-1054.

The following night is their turkey bingo, which is a lot of fun even if you don’t win a turkey.

VNC is offering a bus trip to take in the Windmill Players version of Neil Simon’s “Rumors’” on Nov. 24. There is a sign-up sheet on the events board.
