Our building has had a face lift this summer.
We have had LED lights installed throughout, the air conditioning has been upgraded and we are currently in the throes of a new paint job. If you are planning a wedding/anniversary/birthday party, our beautiful clubrooms are available.

Have you noticed how many of the native poplar leaves are turning colour already.
I hope it isn’t stress from lack of moisture, but the other alternative is, they are preparing for winter.
We went to Lethbridge for the day on Monday and the lack of moisture is even more evident the further south you go.
However, be careful what you wish for, our prayed for rain came very close to being a hailstorm.
Christmas in July at the Legion was a wonderful meal and a chance to reconnect with Larry and Wendy, who came back to do the honours for this occasion. I hear there is a new cook at the Legion. Let’s give that a try in September.
