An Okotoks man was allegedly assaulted in the middle of the night after a pair of men attempted to get into his vehicle. At approximately 2 a.m. on Aug. 14, two men were seen checking car doors along Knowles Avenue. A man was sitting in his car when the pair of suspects tried to open his door. One of the suspects fled upon finding the vehicle occupied. When the occupant confronted the second man, he was assaulted. The victim was treated on scene for minor injuries and did not require further medical attention. RCMP Dog Services attended the scene to attempt to track down the two suspects who fled on foot, but they were not located. The first suspect was described as: white male;

- wearing all black clothing;
- wearing a hood.
