Ground broke on Oct. 12 for the Pason arena expansion, which is expected to open January 2018. In attendance were Mayor Bill Robertson and councillors Matt Rockley and Ray Watrin, and management from Scott Bulders and Stuart Olson, along with Okotoks figure skaters and minor hockey players.
