Fire crews from Foothills and Okotoks responded to a fire on a rural property east of Millarville, around 12:45 p.m. Friday . The flames moves northeast through the property, south of Highway 549 near 135th St., to a stand of trees, where crews set to work battling it. According to Foothills Fire Chief Jim Smith, the fire is believed to have been caused by a lawnmower igniting poplar fluff.
