Crews from High River, Blackie, and Foothills Fire Departments were called out to an acreage fire around 12:30 p.m. on April 6.
Crews from High River, Blackie, and Foothills Fire Departments were called out to an acreage fire around 12:30 p.m. on April 6.
According to Foothills Fire Chief Jim Smith, the fire spread from a barrel burn to a nearby pile of wood shingles before scorching the adjacent field.
One resident sustained burns and was treated on scene by EMS.
