Okotoks RCMP have arrested a suspect in a string of indecent exposure cases outside a women’s clothing store in town.
RCMP responded on Jan. 3, 9 and 18 to reports of a male outside the Reitmans store exposing himself to employees inside.
At approximately 11 p.m. on Jan. 24, police arrested a 20-year-old male suspect without incident. Three charges of committing an indecent act are pending. The suspect remains in custody pending a bail hearing. His name has not been released because charges have not yet been laid.
RCMP Cpl. Cory Forsyth said public tips helped officers with their investigation.
The investigation is ongoing, and Okotoks RCMP are thanking the public and media for their assistance.
