Cyclists took to the Foothills in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer on August 6 and 7. $6.35 million was raised by 1,402 riders for the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

The Sixth Annual Natural High Triathlon took place on July 9 with participants of all ages swimming, biking, and running through Okotoks.

The Okotoks Parade went off without a hitch on June 18, drawing a crowd stretching the length of Okotoks' main streets with an assortment of music, marching, and merriment. After the parade, many took to Ethel Tucker Park for Children's Festival, where kids were entertained with activities such as rock climbing, obstacle courses, colouring, song, and theatre.
