It’s time to tee off in the Foothills.
Golf season is underway with two Okotoks area golf courses opening for the season this weekend and a host of other clubs in the region kicking off in the coming days.
Okotoks’ D’Arcy Ranch, an 18-hole course with a yardage of 6,903 in northwest Okotoks, opens on Friday. Click here for tee times and course information.
East of Okotoks, the scenic River's Edge Golf Club raises the curtain on its season on Sunday, April 21. The 18 holes, including its signature island green hole, and driving range are both open as of the weekend. More info here.
Across town at Crystal Ridge, the nine-hole course and Maxman's Mini-Golf was schedule to kick on Friday, but has since posted its updating its opening date due to the mid-week weather. For course info, click here.
Highwood Golf Club in High River will be opening on April 22, that includes its Highwood 18 and Spitzee 9 offerings. The driving range opened on April 15.
The Turner Valley Golf Club, a championship 18-hole course along with its driving range, does not yet have an opening date. Click here for the latest info.
