Residents in Okotoks should watch for parking bans over the coming weeks as spring street cleaning begins, according to the Town.

A parking ban was declared for Thursday, April 18 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. along the following routes:

  • Poplar Avenue from Crescent Road to North Railway Street
  • North Railway Street from Crystal Ridge Drive to Lineham Avenue
  • Elma Street East from Veterans Way to Clark Avenue
  • Clark Avenue from McRae Street to Elma Street East

In accordance with traffic bylaws, all vehicles and other obstructions must be removed from the road while a parking ban is in place.

“While parking bans are in effect, public are encouraged to use alternate routes wherever possible to allow for road crews to work efficiently and safely,” the Town said.

The Town said other services, such as waste collection and mail delivery, are not affected during parking bans.
