Due to recent snowfall and current weather forecasts, a fire restriction declared last month in Foothills County has been lifted.
The restriction was lifted on May 1. Foothills County said that fire permits will continue to be given, in compliance with relevant regulations.
Fire permits for Class 1 and 2 fires are available free of charge on the County’s website.
A fire ban, restriction or advisory may be issued at any time and burn permits may be revoked with little or no notice, if conditions warrant it, the County said.
