A 32-year-old woman has died and a man has been arrested after a fatal rollover northwest of Turner Valley around noon on Nov. 1.
According to an RCMP press release, a Pontiac G5 was travelling southbound on 272 Street West when it left the road and rolled several times near 386 Avenue West.
Turner Valley RCMP and EMS personnel responded to the scene, where according to Alberta Health Services, an adult male was found outside the vehicle and an adult female was unconscious inside the car.
The 32-year-old female passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene due to the extent of her injuries. The 34-year-old driver declined to be assessed by EMS personnel and was arrested by RCMP. Both are from the Turner Valley area.
The collision remains under investigation and RCMP are asking anyone who may have information regarding the incident to contact the Turner Valley detachment at 403-933-4262.
