Utility repairs force lane closure on North Railway Street

Some residents along North Railway Street will see their water service interupted on Jan. 15 and drivers could expect some delays in the area as crews work to repair a watermain break.

Excavation work and repairs to a broken water line along North Railway between Elm Place and Oak Avenue will continue throughout the day.

The road will be reduced to one lane to accommodate the work. Some residents in the area will see their water service interupted. Affected residents have been contacted by the Town.

All local traffic will be accomodated and flag persons will be on the scene. People are reminded to follow the directions of flag persons.

Crews will be working as quickly as possible and work will continue into the evening until traffic is fully restored.
