Okotoks RCMP are urging people to be wary of a sales scam targeting homeowners.
Police received several reports of suspicious activity involving two men offering driveway sealing services.
According to RCMP, the two have been going door-to-door offering to seal driveways for a competitive price. The pair will ask for a certified cheque and spray a driveway with a chemical. They then would not respond to any further calls for service from the homeowners.
The suspects are driving an early 2000s red crew cab pick-up truck with a black tank and pump in the truck bed.
One suspect is described as six-feet-tall, fair skinned and medium build with short curly hair and freckles. The second suspect is described as five-foot-10 inches tall with a medium skin tone, medium build and dark hair. Both men are described as having an English accent.
