Okotoks RCMP have recovered $5,000 worth of surveying equipment from a storage locker as part of an ongoing investigation into thefts in the community.
On Feb. 2, members of the Okotoks RCMP General Investigative Section executed a search warrant at a storage locker at StorageMart.
Officers recovered tools and survey equipment worth upwards of $5,000. The items were reported stolen from Aldersyde in May 2016 and RCMP have notified the owners.
Officers are still investigating for potential charges of possession of property over $5,000, but no charges have been laid yet.
