Okotoks RCMP are asking for help from the public in locating a suspect in a stabbing at a house party in town in March.
On March 19 at 3:14 a.m. RCMP responded to a report that a man was stabbed at a house party in town. RCMP attended the scene and recovered a knife used in the assault.
According to an RCMP press release, police identified a person of interest in the case after receiving tips from the public and further investigation,
Okotoks RCMP have identified Joshua Mindy Shingoose, 34, of Calgary as a suspect. He is wanted for charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
Anyone who knows of Shingoose’s current location, or who may have information to help police find him, is asked to contact the Okotoks detachment at 403-938-4202. Anonymous tips can be made to CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
