Okotoks man missing

Okotoks RCMP are asking for public's assistance after an Okotoks man was declared missing on Friday evening. Blair Handel, age 51, left his house at approximately 3:15 p.m. on April 8 and has not been heard from since.

Okotoks RCMP are asking for public's assistance after an Okotoks man was declared missing on Friday evening.

Blair Handel, age 51, left his house at approximately 3:15 p.m. on April 8 and has not been heard from since.

He was driving a silver 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with Alberta license plate BHS 1822.

It is believed Handel was heading to mountain regions near Turner Valley or Kananaskis, though he may have traveled further south to the Crowsnest Pass.

He was not equipped with overnight supplies or camping gear.

Handel is approximately 5 feet 6 inches, 155 pounds. He has short brown-gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans and a denim jacket. He is missing one of his middle fingers.
