An Okotoks man has been charged with performing an indecent act in a south Calgary neighbhourhood.
A man was observed masturbating inside a white Honda Civic while parked beside a school playground just after noon on Jan. 25 in the 200 block of Bridlewood Way.
When a passerby confronted him, the accused drove away.
Members of the Calgary Police Services located a vehicle and a person matching the description given by witnesses shortly thereafter. The vehicle was parked in the nearby Shawnessy community.
Mark Angelo Catapang, 24, of Okotoks is charged with an indecent act in a public place. He is next scheduled to appear in court on March 8 in Calgary.
