The Okotokian magazine published by the Okotoks Western Wheel exceeded all expectations during our first year of publication in 2016.
The feedback regarding the two magazines we published in 2016 was so positive that we have decided to publish four magazines in 2017. Next Wednesday, Feb. 22 the Spring 2017 edition of the Okotokian will be delivered with your Western Wheel Newspaper. Please be sure to watch for it because once you pick it up you will want to read it cover to cover.
The Western Wheel editorial team has done an incredible job once again reporting on fascinating hyper-local topics and presenting them in our gorgeous magazine format.

I walked into the post office on Valentine’s day and I couldn’t help noticing a middle-aged man standing in the corner by the mail boxes sticking “Love” stamps on bright pink envelopes with hearts all over them. Then he got out a bottle of Chanel perfume from his pocket and started spraying scent all over the envelopes.
My curiosity got the better of me, so I asked the man why he was sending all those cards. The man replied, “I’m sending out 500 Valentine cards signed, ‘Guess who?’”
“But why?” I asked.
“I’m a divorce lawyer,” the man replied.
