The Bowl for Kids Sake fundraiser in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters In Okotoks is happening on Sunday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Millennium Lanes in Okotoks. The vision of Big Brothers Big Sisters is that; Every Child in Canada Who Needs a Mentor, Has a Mentor. Their Mission; “We commit to Canada’s young people that we will be leaders in providing them with the highest quality, volunteer based mentoring programs”.
The demand for service by Big Brothers Big Sisters in Okotoks exceeds the funding available. The money raised at the Bowl for Kids Sake fundraising event is critically important for them to do their important work in our community. Thank you to everyone who has already registered a team to participate in the 2017 Bowl for Kids Sake fundraiser here in Okotoks. That said, the number of registered participants is extremely low compared with previous years.
