Dear Editor,
Thank you for Contributor Chris Nelsons article about protesters and oil imports re: 84,017 barrels of Saudi oil a day to New Brunswick Irving Oil Refinery.
So, New Brunswick when you have a Saudi oil spill on the Atlantic side, think how you won the battle against a pipeline for Alberta oil by protesting.
Who in their right mind doesn’t recognize that today’s technology in pipeline operation is a far safer way to move oil than tankers from Saudi Arabia and tankers on trains across Canada.
Therefore protesters against pipelines are idiots!!!
When you stop importing oil from corrupt regimes you can protest all you want. Until then you are just hypocrites.
