Canada Post should stop rural mail changes

Dear Editor, I read the article on the address changes many of us have been subjected to. A company in near bankruptcy sees fit to expand rural delivery and add expensive mail boxes all over the place - with concrete bases.

Dear Editor,

I read the article on the address changes many of us have been subjected to.

A company in near bankruptcy sees fit to expand rural delivery and add expensive mail boxes all over the place - with concrete bases.

I saw that before with Eatons and Canadian Airlines all spending money on logos and painting planes and changing all their paper supplies with new logos and such. Amazing.

Well, apart from the stressful job of trying to tell everyone that we have changed our address without moving! Some at cost, all taking a lot of time out of my busy life, but more importantly over 70 per cent of the cards and institutions I belong to will not recognize the new address in their address change options on-line.

Ever heard of “leave well enough alone?”
