Arts council gearing up for 2017

The Sheep Creek Arts Council is having its open house and registration day on Thursday, Jan. 12 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Come and see the clubs and classes offered this winter/spring session and sign up. Also, memberships are due to be renewed.

The Sheep Creek Arts Council is having its open house and registration day on Thursday, Jan. 12 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Come and see the clubs and classes offered this winter/spring session and sign up. Also, memberships are due to be renewed. It is only $10 a year for the right to join clubs and sign up for classes. Classes being offered include belly dancing, quilting (curved piecing and paper piecing), acrylic painting, watercolour painting, Zentangle, a theory course in “Visual Cues for Depicting the Illusion of Visual Space“ by Susan Kristoffersen (this can apply to drawing, painting and quilting). Craftstravaganza will be held for parents and children on Friday nights from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There is also a Rowan House Fundraiser “Scrapbook for a Cause” on March 11, 2017.

I hope to see you there to renew your memberships and meet with friends. Punch and goodies will be available.
