Dear Editor,
I was appalled when I read the article on the Diamond Valley volunteer of the year! Don’t get me wrong, I think he was a great choice! What I couldn’t stand was the article written. To say that he was the only one nominated, even though the nominations were left open a week longer, and that’s why he got it, was tasteless, demeaning and had no tact at all. Even if that were the case, celebrate the man for who he is and don’t demean it by such inconsiderate words.
