Alberta needs new leadership

Dear Editor, The latest edition of your paper March 1 and the column of Dean Leask on the election of Jason Kenny as the next leader is totally what Alberta needs.

Dear Editor,

The latest edition of your paper March 1 and the column of Dean Leask on the election of Jason Kenny as the next leader is totally what Alberta needs.

The previous divisions of the Conservative Party were the undoing of this wonderful province.

As a dyed in the wool conservative all my life, I went to the Wildrose Party for our Highwood constituency. The election of our good Mr. Wayne Anderson after the boondoggle of [Wildrose MLAs] crossing the floor was just too heartening to me as a senior. I do feel that the party needs to unite and get away from the one-sided NDP now in power.

I have to admit that this new announcement of lowering school fees for struggling parents in our tough economy is a step in the right direction.

The carbon tax and the green power bulbs and shower heads will be a disaster, mark my words. The fact it needs to come from Ontario and not an Alberta firm makes me shake my head.

I wonder, do they the NDP think we have shrunk up and become potato heads with not a brain among us.

Good luck to conservatives or wildrosers.

Respectfully yours,

Mary Campbell
