Thieves drove through the front window at an Okotoks gas station to steal an ATM early Tuesday morning.

At approximately 5:40 a.m., two suspects backed a stolen pick-up truck through the 32 Street Shell gas station’s front door and windows.

Two suspects exited the truck and placed a damaged ATM into the bed of the truck before driving away.

The vehicle was located approximately an hour later in High River with the ATM empty and rolled away from the vehicle, which was left nearby. It’s unknown at this time how much cash was stolen.

The pick-up truck is described as a blue Ford F-350.

Okotoks RCMP Sgt. Sukh Randhawa said the truck was stolen from High River.

He said they are looking for two male suspects seen on video surveillance. Both were wearing black hoodies at the time.

The store was closed when the crime occurred and no one was hurt.

RCMP continue to investigate the incident.
