Complaint caused family some heartache

Dear Editor,

I am sad and disheartened to hear that a complaint was made about the unsightly view of a truck in a local residentís driveway so the family moved it to keep it out of sight of the neighbour. Then they were faced with the burden of a ticket for having it parked there

It seems more and more that people are focused on what looks good rather than minding their own business.

To the person who made this call to the RCMP ó you have no idea the turmoil you have caused to a young boy who saved up money for this truck, well before he has his license. This truck was helping him gain skills, build memories and spend time with his father. The idea was him and his dad were going to fix the truck together in preparation for him to have a vehicle to drive. In a generation of kids, where time flies by too fast, quality time seems to be limited you have the view of your front porch on your list of priorities.

Instead of being neighbourly, you were a coward and picked up the phone wasting time of our local authorities.

I hope you like your view.
