Graphic pamphlets should not have been distributedBy: | Posted: Wednesday, Mar 20, 2013 11:48 am Dear Editor, I waited the 24 hr cool off period before sending a formal email and letter to the editor with respects to responding to the graphic and disturbing content, full color, anti-gender abortion pamphlets that were left on my front porch on Tuesday, March 12. When I went to the web site, I realized I had to sign-up to www.endthekilling.ca in order to give my feedback. No thank you! I found it mildly amusing that this web site was only interested in thoughtful, respectful, insightful comments posted on their graphic and very disturbing web site. Really? How thoughtful, respectful and insightful was it when you came into my child friendly, family orientated neighbourhood while we are at work and school to leave your graphic anti-gender abortion pamplets on my doorstep, for my seven and nine year old little girls to find at the end of their day? How dare you! We have a family of seven in our household, five of whom are female. You have created so much needless drama and trauma in a household that thrives on structure and security. The world is an ugly place, our home is our sanctuary not some dumping ground for your meaningless causes. Home is the one place I can filter what my family is exposed to, and even that God given right and choice has been taken away from me. Kinda like the great abortion debate? I understand your intentions were to create some sort of dramatic controversy, however, upsetting children and pissing people off by being blatantly ignorant does not encourage listening, or positive feedback, especially when considering such a sensitive issue. This really made you look like the monsters, not the issue printed in your pamphlet. Use some serious caution on your approach. You tactless cowards.
