Dear Editor,

Once again my faith in human compassion and generousity has been rekindled. Last week my husband and I were en route to Bragg Creek when we were forced to pull off the road and stop. No heater, no antifreeze plus an engine light flashing. Out of the blue a family of three on their way to their son’s hockey game pulled over near us. This fine family turned their truck around and drove back to their farm and returned shortly with two gallons of antifreeze, filled up our PT Cruiser with much-needed coolants and drove away.

They would not accept payment. Please again accept our thanks.

P.S. I hope your son won his hockey game.
