When the weather is warm and sunny, even the most dedicated gym rats should consider taking their exercise routines outside.

Working out in the outdoors can offer many benefits and, for some people, could prove to be easier to stick with over time, according to Andrew Gustafson, personal trainer and owner of Natural High Fitness in Okotoks.

Gustafson offers some cool tips on sweating it in the summer heat in this outdoor exercise video.
