Oilers back on top with win in Game 3

Sports: Game 4 tonight in Camrose

The Okotoks Oilers beat the Camrose Kodiaks 5-3 Tuesday to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven Alberta Junior Hockey League South Division final.

The Kodiaks drew first blood in Game 3 in Camrose before the Oilers scored five unanswered goals to take a 5-1 lead early in the third period.

The Oilers' goal scorers were Jonathan Turk, Colten Hayes, Kyle Reynolds, Ben Gamache and Connor Collett.
The Kodiaks would score two goals in the last 10 minutes of the game to make the final 5-3.

Oilers goalie Michael Tadjdeh stopped 23 of 26 shots.

However, the Oilers' powerplay continued to struggle scoring just once in nine chances.

Game 4 is tonight in Camrose at 7:30 p.m. and Game 5 is Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Centennial Arena in Okotoks.
