Stabbing suspect in jail

The Eden Valley teen charged with killing his uncle will spend another month in jail.
A teenage boy died of a single stab wound following a fight with his nephew on March 11.
Police are saying it may have been a vendetta killing for another fatal stabbing on the same reserve two years ago. The deceased boy was to be sentenced this month for the 2006 stabbing death.
The lawyer for the boy charged in the most recent killing said Friday she was not prepared to hold a bail hearing and asked that the case come back in late April.
Neither boy can be named due to their age and because they are related. The Youth Criminal Justice Act protects the identity of people under the age of 18 charged with or convicted of a crime.
The teen charged with the latest stabbing appeared via closed circuit television from the Calgary Youth Remand Centre.
He is charged with first/second degree murder and possession of a weapon.
His next court appearance is April 25 in Okotoks.
